Miyagi Week 2016
at The Cultured Pearl

Introducing ingredients and products from Miyagi Prefecture, Japan…

Miyagi Prefecture in Japan and the State of Delaware have had a close relationship and later developed a formal sister-state partnership under Governor Carper in 1997. The partnership was established for the purpose of economic and educational growth for the people, both in Delaware and Miyagi. Businesses in Delaware have worked together to help open doors for markets in Miyagi in order to create more job opportunities for people in Miyagi and Delaware. Families and schools from both states have hosted our students, and help them understand each of our cultures and each other as friends.
The Cultured Pearl proudly supports this important tie in between Delaware and Miyagi.
